An online space in development from an old soul making his way through a world of new media...

Because it’s Sunday.  And because it’s not just any Sunday, but Resurrection Sunday.  And because this set of music goes out to those who tired of continually breathing life into dead situations.  Leave them behind and let God do a new thing in your life…

Because it’s Sunday.  And because beauty can even be found in the scars that life gives us.  Watch Propaganda break it down as he speaks on the evidence of God’s love in the title track for his upcoming album, Crimson Cord.

Did you hear?  My man DJ Center has new music coming our way.  Check out this behind the scenes video for his latest release…

Because it’s Sunday.  And because at the end of the day, it’s not about us.  Not my will, Lord, but yours be done…

Ten years ago, the Stones Throw label blessed us with one of the finest albums within their discography…

Because it’s Sunday.  And because the Humble Beast collective continue to hold a special place in my heart and my growing unconventional hymnal.  In this selection from Beautiful Eulogy’s latest album Instruments Of Mercy, they warn us against getting caught up in “Symbols And Signs.”  Respect due to special guest Propaganda for his closing verse.

This album’s a few months away from turning ten, but I still say that it hasn’t aged one bit since its release.

Macedonia's mixes on the Free Music Archive

Haven’t put together a mix on the Free Music Archive in a while, but figured I’d share a link to what I’ve already done.  I still say that the FMA is a goldmine.  Those with a mind to dig will be rewarded…

Phantogram currently has a new album out called Voices and as much as I love the single “Fall In Love,” I still say that they threw down the gauntlet five years ago on their debut release.  Eyelid Movies will still give most of what’s coming out these days a run for its money.  “Running From The Cops” was probably the first song I ever heard from them and I remain ride or die for this duo.  Gotta love it when a pair of upstate New York kids make good.
